Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Kentik, Pune. We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 10 to 15 years of experience to join our team at Kentik. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in GitOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana, Golang, AWS, Bash scripting, and Python. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and services.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure using GitOps principles and tools such as Flux or ArgoCD.
- Develop and manage Kubernetes clusters and associated container orchestration frameworks to ensure productive deployment and management of applications.
- Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources across AWS.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using Grafana and Prometheus, establishing SLOs/SLIs and managing error budgets.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate reliability engineering practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Lead incident response and on-call operations,



applying chaos engineering principles to improve system resilience.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for SRE and DevOps methodologies.
