About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SDET with strong programming skills in Python or Golang and hands-on experience with Kubernetes. The candidate will be responsible for developing automation frameworks, testing scalable applications, and ensuring the reliability and quality of distributed/cloud-native systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python or Golang.
- Develop automated tests for API, backend, integration and end-to-end testing.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing.
- Work with Kubernetes/containerized environments for test execution and validation.
- Create and maintain automated test suites for microservices and distributed applications.
- Validate REST APIs, services and backend components.
- Troubleshoot test failures and collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with development, DevOps and product teams to improve product quality.
- Participate in test planning, test case design and automation strategy.
Required Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in Software Testing / SDET / Test Automation.
- Strong programming experience in Python OR Golang.
- Hands-on experience in test automation and automation framework development.
- Strong experience in API testing and REST services.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
- Positive understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Good knowledge of Git/version control.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Pytest / unittest / Robot Framework.
- Experience with Go testing frameworks.
- Exposure to Jenkins / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Knowledge of Kafka / messaging systems.
- Experience with performance or scalability testing.
