SAP Cloud Identity Services (hereinafter also simplified abbreviated to "IAS") contain functionalities to enable identity and access management across systems in a hybrid SAP landscape. They aim to provide a seamless single sign-on experience for users in the cloud while ensuring that system and data access are secure.
Responsibilities
- Administration/maintenance of IAS Tenant Settings including IAS sub-functionalities Schemas (customer-specific SCIM Schemas), Terms of Use, Documents, Privacy Policy Documents, Email Templates, Password Policies, Custom CSS, Logos, Tenant Texts and Master Data.
- Creation and configuration of current IAS Applications as well as configuration changes or deletion during lifecycle of regarding IAS Application.
- Renewal of SAML configurations on basis of SAML Metadata File and/or SAML Signing Certificate for relevant IAS Applications.
- Renewal of OIDC configurations for relevant IAS Applications (mainly renewal of client secret for client ID in OIDC configuration).
- Renewal of credentials like client ID and secret within relevant IAS Applications (Client Authentication).
- Creation and configuration of new IPS Source Systems, IPS Target Systems and IPS Proxy Systems as well as configuration changes or deletion during lifecycle of regarding IPS Source System, IPS Target System or IPS Proxy System.
