We are hiring for Production Manager/Sr. Manager for MNC co. Chakan Pune.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Control (PPC)

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Plan machine capacity, manpower, materials and tooling requirements.
- Monitor planned versus actual production and take corrective action for deviations.
- Control WIP, production lead time and bottlenecks to ensure on-time delivery.

2. Production & Productivity

- Manage daily shop-floor operations and achieve production targets.
- Improve machine utilization, productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
- Reduce downtime, cycle time, rejection, rework and scrap.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S initiatives.

3. Quality & Process Control

- Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Quality to reduce rejection and customer complaints.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and process controls.

4. Maintenance Coordination

- Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns and downtime.




- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

5. Manpower & Material Management

- Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Develop employee skills and monitor team performance.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of raw materials, tools and consumables.

6. Reporting & Coordination

- Prepare daily and monthly production reports and MIS.
- Track production achievement, machine utilization, downtime, rejection and delivery performance.
- Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, Stores and Dispatch teams.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
