We are looking for a skilled Release Engineer with strong experience in OpenShift (OCP), Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing application deployments, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage application deployments using OpenShift (OCP).
- Perform rolling deployments, zero-downtime deployments, scaling, and rollback using oc rollout.
- Configure and troubleshoot OpenShift Routes, TLS/Edge termination, and path-based routing.
- Diagnose deployment and runtime issues such as CrashLoopBackOff, ImagePullBackOff, and OOMKilled.
- Use OC CLI for application deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and cluster administration.
- Integrate deployment processes with Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines.
- Manage BuildConfigs, ImageStreams, and container image repositories.
- Monitor application and cluster health using OpenShift Console and Metrics.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth software releases.
- Strong experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Experience with container image management, BuildConfigs, and ImageStreams.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows.
- Experience with monitoring and maintaining OpenShift clusters.
