Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and social-media-savvy Social Media Executive who is passionate about content creation, emerging trends, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, and be capable of developing engaging content ideas, assisting with shoots, and contributing to organic brand growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day social media activities across various platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, reels, memes, audio, content formats, and platform updates.
- Brainstorm creative ideas for reels, posts, stories, and other social media content.
- Assist in planning, developing, and executing content strategies for brands.
- Participate in content shoots and be comfortable working both behind and in front of the camera when required.
- Handle basic shooting requirements, including framing, lighting, camera/phone setup, and microphone usage.
- Perform basic video editing and content preparation as required.
- Manage comments, direct messages (DMs), replies, and audience engagement.
- Support Online Reputation Management (ORM) and maintain a positive brand image.
- Proactively engage with relevant accounts, creators, influencers, and online communities.




- Monitor content performance and suggest improvements to increase organic reach and engagement.
- Explore recent ideas and strategies to grow followers, improve engagement, and build an active online community.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong interest in and active engagement with social media platforms.
- Good understanding of Instagram and other major social media platforms.
- Awareness of current trends and the ability to identify engaging content opportunities.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for content creation and storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of shooting, lighting, camera/phone handling, and audio equipment.
- Basic video editing skills using relevant editing tools.
- Confidence and willingness to appear on camera when required.
- Good communication, writing, and caption-writing skills.
- Understanding of audience behaviour, online conversations, and engagement practices.
- Curiosity about social media growth, with a willingness to experiment and learn.
- Proactive attitude, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Agency experience or experience managing brand social media accounts will be an added advantage.
- A portfolio of reels, videos, posts, or other social media content is a plus.
