SAP MM Consultant - Job Description (5+ Years Experience)

Job Title: SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant
Experience: 5+ Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant with 5+ years of expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Materials Management solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, vendor management, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP MM processes including Procurement, Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Vendor Management.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Configure Organizational Structure, Master Data, Purchasing Documents, Release Strategies, and Pricing Procedures.
- Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Work on inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory processes.
- Collaborate with business users for issue resolution, process improvements, and system enhancements.
- Perform functional testing, integration testing, UAT support, and production support.




- Create functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments.
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP SD, FI/CO, PP, WM/EWM, and Ariba modules.
- Support data migration activities and system upgrades.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and support.

- Purchase Requisitions (PR)
- Purchase Orders (PO)
- RFQ & Quotation Processes
- Release Strategy Configuration
- Invoice Verification
- Stock Transfer & Physical Inventory

- Experience with integration of SAP MM with FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM modules.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Procurement processes.
- Experience in issue analysis, debugging functional issues, and end-user support.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- SAP MM Certification is preferred.
- Experience with SAP Ariba, Fiori Apps, and S/4HANA migration projects is an added advantage.
