Job Summary-Role Overview
An L2.5 Support Engineer for Investment Management (IM) Support at Franklin Templeton functions as a techno-functional support expert. This role bridges standard IT support with domain-specific trade platforms and financial application ecosystem support. This is a key role for keeping critical investment systems, portfolio management tools, and data pipelines running smoothly while providing support to Investment portfolio managers, traders, and research analysts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Robust domain expertise in Investment Management/Capital Markets (must-have, top priority).
- Experience working with peripheral systems integrated with Aladdin or similar IM platforms (Aladdin experience not mandatory).
- 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in L2.5/L3 production support.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and exposure to API management for system-to-system data flows.
- Hands-on experience with scripting (Python/PLSQL) and ReactJS.
- Exposure to one or more: Restful APIs, HTML, CSS, Java Microservices.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes, Git/Bitbucket, and test automation.
- Experience with incident/problem lifecycle management and ticketing tools (ServiceNow/JIRA).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; able to work independently and within teams
Willing to work in rotating 24X7 shifts, including weekend shifts
