Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Develop and maintain API automation frameworks using REST Assured.
- Create reusable automation components and enhance existing automation frameworks.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for issue resolution.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.




- Ensure adherence to testing best practices and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- 4-9 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java programming.
- Extensive experience in Selenium WebDriver automation.
- Solid experience in REST Assured for API testing.
- Experience in creating automation frameworks using TestNG/JUnit.
- Good understanding of API testing concepts, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket version control systems.
- Good knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
