Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ETL Informatica Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL development, SQL, data extraction, transformation and loading, data integration, relational databases, and data warehousing. The candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing Informatica mappings, mapplets, workflows, and sessions, implementing complex data transformations, troubleshooting ETL failures, and ensuring data quality and consistency across source and target systems.

The role requires experience in handling large volumes of data, analyzing source-to-target mappings, optimizing ETL processes, and collaborating with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Database Teams, QA Teams, and Application Teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Informatica ETL mappings, mapplets, workflows, and sessions.
- Design and implement robust Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.
- Develop reusable mappings, mapplets, transformations, and workflows based on business and technical requirements.
- Implement complex data transformations and integration processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Write, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Perform source-to-target data mapping, data validation, and reconciliation.
- Analyze source systems, target systems,



and data requirements to ensure accurate data integration.
- Work with relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server.
- Handle and process large volumes of data while maintaining data accuracy and performance.
- Perform data quality and data validation checks across source and target systems.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, data issues, and performance problems and implement appropriate solutions.
- Analyze production issues and perform root-cause analysis (RCA).
- Optimize ETL workflows, mappings, SQL queries, and processes for improved performance and scalability.
- Support deployment and migration of Informatica ETL components across different environments.
- Provide production support for ETL processes and resolve issues within defined timelines.
- Work closely with Application, Database, QA, Business Analyst, and Data Engineering teams to resolve technical and data-related issues.
- Participate in the complete SDLC, including development, unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.
- Follow established coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and development standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to ETL mappings, workflows, data flows, and processes.
