Key capabilities required:

- Strong SolidWorks 3D modeling and sheet-metal design expertise
- Good understanding of sheet-metal manufacturing
- Knowledge of AWS welding standards and weld-map creation
- Robust ASME-based 2D drafting knowledge
- Experience in service body/custom body design




- Ability to translate Sales requirements, Quotes and RFQs into engineering designs
- Experience with Engineering BOM (E-BOM) and Manufacturing BOM (M-BOM)
- Experience handling engineering changes driven by production
- Good understanding of structural engineering/design

This requirement is intentionally for senior design engineering talent rather than primarily 2D drafting profiles. Our existing SSC capability is largely 2D focused; these roles are intended to broaden our capability into 3D design and adjacent engineering activities and enable the team to take greater E2O ownership over time.
