JOB PURPOSE: Manage a team of Area sales Managers and Sales Delegates to achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual budgets in the assigned area of operations. Implementation of sales, coverage & marketing strategies in line with the approved & agreed plan
Role & responsibilities
Achievement of budgeted sales for the month, quarter & year
Effectively manage a team of Area sales Managers sales delegates to ensure their budgets are achieved
CRM and new customer acquisition to expand the width & dept of the product penetration namely through Pharmacies, small hospitals & Depositos
Work Extensively with ASM and Reps to improve their effectiveness. Conduct classroom & infield product training. Coaching & counselling of the delegates to improve the productivity
Conducting RCPAs at retail & hospital pharmacies to track product movement and report on competition and competitor activities
Monitoring the working of the ASM,
Angolan Managers and delegates by analysing their daily reports, spot checks, monitoring the coverage of the delegates territories.
Ensuring optimal implementation of the strategic sales & marketing plans including promotions, schemes, merchandising & new product launches
Ensuring liquidation of slow/ short shelf-life products as and when required
Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports as per company norms
Preferred candidate profile
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate, B.Sc. life sciences would be preferred
Minimum Experience: 1 year experience in a 2nd line managers position in a reputable company
Job Specific Skills: Positive communication & interpersonal skills, analytical, man management, Proficiency in the Portuguese language would be an advantage.
