Designation - Manager –Sourcing

Qualification - BE – Mechanical with 15 years’ experience

Age - 40 to 45 years

Location of work - Chennai

Languages Known - Tamil, English and Hindi (Mandatory)

- Proven experience in managing and effectively dealing with a large and diverse supplier base is a key criterion for this role.
- Identify and implement long term plans for High value Purchases by optimising costs and Supplier performance.
- Collate all the requirements of group companies and initiate Group buy Policy that will yield a positive volume discount.
- Experience in Imports, look for import alternates that will yield cost reduction and improved quality.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Needs to manage supplier performance and relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance.
- Form CFT and engage with engineering, quality, finance,



and supply chain to ensure sourcing strategies support overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings involving all departments without compromising on the product quality.
- Develop and implement risk management plans related to procurement, supply chain, and other areas.
- To ensure all procurement meets company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Travel up to 7 days per month for supplier development, audits, and commercial discussions.
- 6 days working.
