Profile: Assistant Professor (Computer Science)

Experience:

- Freshers eligible: no minimum years of experience required under UGC norms, provided the candidate has NET/SET/Ph.D.
- Teaching/research experience as per UGC norms for the Assistant Professor level
- Prior teaching or industry experience preferred (candidates with more experience can be considered for the Senior Scale or Selection Grade)
- Exposure to industry-integrated programs is an advantage
- Desirable: minimum 2 publications (peer-reviewed/Scopus) excluding Ph.D. publications
- Desirable: 3 national presentations/participations

Roles:

- Teach UG and PG courses in the BCA, BSc IT, MCA and MSc IT programs
- Prepare lesson plans, study material, assignments and assessments
- Guide student projects, internships and mini-projects
- Carry out research and publish in peer-reviewed/Scopus journals
- Mentor students and support co-curricular activities
- Support the department in academic and administrative work

Qualification:

- Qualification and eligibility as per UGC norms
- Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications or a related field; NET/SET/Ph.D. as applicable under UGC norms
