We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day activities of our Kochi office. The role involves coordinating staff, tracking project progress, managing office needs, and ensuring that work runs smoothly.

You will work closely with the management and project teams to plan daily tasks, solve work-related issues, support clients, and keep projects on track.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, good at managing people, and able to handle daily business activities in an MEP, BIM, engineering, design, or similar service-based company.

Responsibilities

- Manage Daily Operations: Ensure the office runs smoothly and daily tasks are completed on time.
- Coordinate Staff: Assign tasks, follow up with team members, track attendance, and support staff when needed.
- Track Projects: Monitor project progress, deadlines, pending tasks, and work completion.
- Manage Resources: Coordinate staff availability and workloads to ensure work is shared properly.
- Support Clients: Coordinate with clients, respond to basic queries, and follow up on pending work.
- Maintain Work Quality: Check that teams follow company processes and complete work as required.
- Handle Office Activities: Coordinate meetings, maintain basic records, and support day-to-day administrative needs.
- Solve Daily Issues: Identify delays or work-related problems and coordinate with the right people to resolve them.
- Prepare Reports: Share regular updates with management on project status, staff availability, pending work, and operational issues.
- Support Hiring and Team Planning: Coordinate with management and HR on staffing needs, onboarding,



and team requirements.
- Improve Workflows: Suggest simple ways to improve coordination, reduce delays, and help the team work better.

Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in any relevant field is preferred.
- 5 8 years of experience in operations, office management, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience coordinating teams and managing daily work activities.
- Good organisational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to track tasks, deadlines, staff workloads, and project progress.
- Experience in an MEP, BIM, engineering consultancy, design, construction, or other project-based company is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of project workflows and client coordination.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and reporting tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, solve day-to-day problems, and work with limited supervision.
- A practical, responsible, and team-focused approach to work.
