The Spare Parts Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the parts department, ensuring optimal stock levels for JCB cranes and heavy machinery, minimizing machine downtime, managing vendor/supplier relationships, and driving departmental profitability. - Inventory & Stock Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of genuine JCB crane spare parts, components, and consumables.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies with the ERP/DMS system.
- Monitor slow-moving, dead, and obsolete stock to reduce carrying costs and waste. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Source and order genuine spare parts directly from JCB authorized distributors or OEM manufacturers.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and warranty support with vendors and suppliers.
- Track purchase orders (POs) and manage incoming shipments, customs, or freight logistics. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Service & Workshop Coordination:




- Coordinate closely with the Service Managers and mechanics to ensure timely supply of parts for crane servicing, repairs, and field breakdowns.
- Prioritize urgent breakdown parts to minimize customer or project downtime. [1, 2]
- Sales & Customer Relations:
- Handle customer and internal parts inquiries, counter sales, and parts pricing.
- Promote parts sales targets and manage client complaints or warranty replacements.
- Team Leadership & Administration:
- Supervise, train, and schedule parts storekeepers, executives, and assistants.
- Ensure the parts warehouse is clean, organized, safety-compliant, and properly labeled.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on parts sales, margins, and stock turnover.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
