About the Role Budhia Steel Works Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee all stock and warehouse operations at our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of inventory, from the inwarding of raw materials (such as steel scrap, billets, and alloys) to the outward dispatch of finished steel goods. This role requires close coordination with the Plant Head and procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted production, accurate stock reconciliation, and strict adherence to safety and storage protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Stock Management: Monitor and maintain optimal levels of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods to prevent production delays or stockouts.
- Inward & Outward Logistics: Oversee the accurate recording of all materials entering and leaving the plant. Ensure all gate passes, weighbridge slips, and delivery challans are strictly verified and logged.
- Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct daily/weekly cycle counts and comprehensive monthly physical audits to reconcile physical stock with digital records (ERP/Google Sheets). Identify and resolve any stock variances immediately.
- Process Optimization: Implement robust standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse management, emphasizing FIFO (First-In, First-Out)



and efficient space utilization within the plant's storage yards.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with the production and procurement teams to forecast material requirements, plan schedules, and report on real-time inventory status.
- Reporting & MIS: Generate daily inventory trackers and present MIS reports on material consumption trends, wastage, aging stock, and inventory turnover.
- Team Leadership & Safety: Supervise storekeepers and material handling labor, ensuring high productivity while maintaining strict compliance with industrial safety and material handling standards.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 4 to 7 years of proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or store operations, strictly within the steel, metal, or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with inventory tracking software, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets for data management.
- Core Competencies: Excellent numerical aptitude, solid problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing inventory control methods.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
