Testing Engineer (Power Transformer)

Qualification – B.E. / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Generally, 4 to 6+ years power or distribution transformer TESTING

Ø evaluates electrical transformers to ensure they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards (such as IS, IEC, or IEEE) through routine, type, and diagnostic tests

Ø Conduct Insulation Resistance (IR), Winding Resistance, Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR), Vector Group, No-Load Loss, Load Loss, and High-Voltage (HV) tests.

Ø Execute Tan Delta, Partial Discharge (PD), Knee Point, and Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA) when required

Ø Compare test data against engineering drawings and specifications, then compile official test reports and certificates

Ø Identify manufacturing defects, trace electrical or mechanical faults, and work with production, quality control, and third-party inspectors.

Ø Familiarity with national and international standards like IS, IEC, or IEEE.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
