Job Title: Data Survey Analyst

Department: Statutory & Regulatory

Location: Kerala / Field-based

Reporting To: Head – Statutory & Regulatory

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Data Collection

Conduct surveys across Corporations, Municipalities, Panchayats, hotels, restaurants, institutions, markets, and other bulk waste generators.

Collect data on daily food-waste generation, current disposal methods, collection frequency, and waste sources.

Capture GPS/location details, photographs, contact information, and other relevant site information.

Conduct primary and secondary surveys as required.

2. Data Management & Validation

Maintain structured databases of surveyed establishments and municipalities.

Verify and cross-check field data for accuracy and completeness.

Identify duplicate, missing, or inconsistent information.

Regularly update the database based on follow-up surveys.

3. Data Analysis

Analyze food-waste generation patterns by location, establishment type, quantity, and seasonality.

Identify high-potential food-waste clusters and aggregation points.

Calculate estimated waste availability and potential processing capacity.

Prepare location-wise summaries to support project feasibility assessments.

4. Mapping & Visualization

Develop location-wise food-waste maps using Google Maps, Google My Maps, GIS or similar tools.

Map potential collection routes and aggregation points.

Support identification of suitable locations for G3R processing facilities.

5. Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly survey reports.

Develop dashboards and management reports using Excel / Power BI.

Present key findings, trends, and recommendations to management.





Maintain documentation and evidence collected during field surveys.

6. Project Support

Support the Regulatory/Business Development team in preparing DPRs, feasibility reports, proposals, and presentations.

Provide data required for discussions with Corporations, Municipalities, and other stakeholders.

Support estimation of potential feedstock availability for proposed G3R projects.

Solid MS Excel / Google Sheets skills.

Data collection and data-entry skills.

Basic statistical/data-analysis knowledge.

Knowledge of Google Maps / GIS is preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to conduct extensive field surveys.

Strong attention to detail.

Report writing and presentation skills.

Ability to work with large datasets.

Educational Qualification

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

0-2 years in data analysis, market research, field surveys, MIS, GIS, business intelligence, or a similar role.

Freshers with robust Excel/data-analysis and field-survey skills may also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
