Job Summary

Fuselage Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong understanding of mechanical design, 3D modelling, and manufacturing processes. The candidate must have hands-on experience with NX, SolidWorks, or Creo and the ability to develop accurate, production-ready designs for mechanical components and assemblies.

The role involves designing and modifying mechanical parts, preparing manufacturing drawings, selecting appropriate materials and manufacturing methods, and coordinating with the production team to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 3D models and mechanical assemblies using Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or PTC Creo.
- Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and manufacturing instructions.
- Design and modify mechanical components, structures, brackets, fixtures, and assemblies based on project requirements.
- Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, drilling, welding, cutting, grinding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly.
- Ensure designs are practical to manufacture, assemble, maintain, and inspect.
- Select suitable materials, fasteners, and mechanical components based on functional and manufacturing requirements.
- Review designs for dimensional accuracy, fit, clearances, and assembly compatibility.
- Coordinate with the production and fabrication teams to resolve design-related issues during manufacturing.




- Revise drawings and 3D models based on testing, production feedback, and design changes.
- Maintain organised records of CAD models, engineering drawings, revisions, and design documentation.

Educational Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following CAD software packages: Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or PTC Creo.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production methods.
- Practical knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, dimensional tolerances, fits, and assembly drawings.
- Experience in 3D modelling, part design, assembly modelling, and 2D drawing preparation.
- Knowledge of material selection, fabrication methods, machining, and design for manufacturability.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate design requirements into manufacturing-ready documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with production and engineering teams.

Salary and Compensation

₹25,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on relevant experience, CAD proficiency, and manufacturing knowledge.
