OB DESCRIPTION – LATHE MACHINE OPERATOR

Job Responsibilities

- Operate conventional lathe machines for turning, facing, drilling, threading, and boring operations.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Perform machining operations as per required dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain the quality and accuracy of finished components.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of the machine and workplace.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report any technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- ITI in Turner / Machinist or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience operating a lathe machine.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, machining operations, and measurement instruments.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings.
- Responsible, punctual, and quality-conscious.
