Purpose of the Role

To prepare accurate product designs and engineering drawings, support prototype development, and ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing while mee ng customer requirements.

Key Responsibilites

 Study customer drawings and technical requirements.

 Prepare 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings.

 Prepare BOMs and technical specifica ons.

 Develop designs suitable for sheet metal and manufacturing processes.

 Support prototype and sample development.

 Coordinate with Produc on, Quality, and NPD teams.

 Modify drawings based on trial and inspec on results.

 Maintain drawing revision control.

 Support ECN/ECR activites.

 Partcipate in design reviews and feasibility studies.

 Ensure latest drawings are available for produc on.

 Support cost reduc on through design improvements.

 Prepare and recommend design changes.

 Release drawings as per approved company procedure.

 Raise ECN/ECR for required design modifica ons.

 Recommend rejec on of designs/prototypes not meetng specifications.

Educational Qualification

 BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die Making.

Experience

 2 to 6 years in CAD Design, NPD, Sheet Metal Fabrica on, or Manufacturing Industry.

Required Skills

 AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo / CATIA.

 2D/3D modeling.

 GD&T; knowledge.

 BOM preparation.

 Drawing interpreta on.

 Sheet metal design knowledge.

 Problem-solving and analytical skills
