Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our team in Dahisar, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have experience in technical estimation, costing, tender analysis, and preparation of techno-commercial proposals.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze tender documents, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), technical specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department to obtain raw material prices and resolve costing queries.
- Coordinate with the Logistics Department for freight calculations based on applicable Incoterms.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and relevant standards, including ASTM, BS, and API.
- Provide technical support to the Sales team and respond to customer queries regarding quotations and technical requirements.




- Review customer purchase orders, identify discrepancies, and prepare order-wise profitability reports.
- Prepare BOQs and Work Orders and coordinate with Design and Production teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of proposals, quotations, revisions, BOQs, Work Orders, and engineering drawings.
- Ensure timely submission of proposals and BOQs while maintaining accuracy and adherence to internal processes.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Understanding of cost estimation, material costing, and techno-commercial proposal preparation.
- Knowledge of freight calculations and international trade terms is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Eligibility Criteria

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in estimation, costing, tender analysis, or techno-commercial proposal preparation.
