Role Description The Senior Food Technologist will be responsible for leading product development and improvement activities, including formulating new food products to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting laboratory experiments, supervising sensory evaluation panels, and ensuring robust quality control processes across production batches. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate customer and market requirements into stable, scalable food formulations, and to document technical specifications and test results. The Senior Food Technologist will also mentor junior technical staff, maintain laboratory documentation, and support audits and compliance initiatives. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Kanpur. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong core food science expertise, including Food Technology and Research and Development (R&D;) skills.
• Candidates should possess applied laboratory capabilities, including Laboratory Skills and experience in experimental design and data analysis.
• Candidates should possess sensory and product assessment skills, including Sensory Evaluation and familiarity with structured tasting protocols.
• Candidates should possess quality and compliance skills, including Quality Control and knowledge of food safety and relevant regulatory standards.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience in leading product development projects and working with manufacturing or processing environments.
• Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work systematically in a laboratory and plant setting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide and support junior team members.
