Defines agent design, knowledge grounding, tool/MCP integration, security and ALM standards, and provides technical direction and design assurance to the development team.

Key Responsibilities
Define the agent architecture for each use case, including topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, and agent/conversation flows. Decide when native Copilot Studio capabilities are sufficient and when to use Azure AI Foundry for advanced model selection or custom grounding (e.g., RAG, agentic workflows). Design Power Automate flows and MCP Server tool/plugin connections to extend agent actions and integrate with line-of-business systems. Establish security, authentication, data access, and governance guardrails for agents and their connected systems. Define workplace strategy and ALM practices (dev-test-prod), solution packaging, and publishing across channels (Teams, web, custom apps).



Set responsible AI standards, including bias, safety, and hallucination validation, and embed them in the design and test approach. Provide design authority across the team: review designs, configurations, and flows, and resolve complex technical issues. Guide agent instruction and prompt tuning approaches to improve accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with the Project Manager, Business Analyst, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into a practical solution approach. Mentor Team Leads and developers on Copilot Studio best practices. Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience designing enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, with strong hands-on expertise in Copilot Studio architecture (generative orchestration, knowledge sources, publishing, ALM, governance). Strong working knowledge of Power Automate and integration patterns with Copilot Studio agents. Experience designing and configuring MCP Server/tool connections to extend agent actions. Working knowledge of Azure AI Foundry for model selection, prompt engineering, and grounding patterns (RAG, agentic workflows). Solid understanding of security, authentication, and data governance for AI agents. Understanding of responsible AI principles and bias/safety validation practices. Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills. Agile Delivery Experience Preferred. Additional Information 15-year full-time education is required.
