Over the past seven years, the organization has provided astronomy education to more than 10,000 students and expanded into astro-photography, astro-tourism, and community science engagement. Labrynthe aims to nurture future innovators by fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong scientific temperament. Role Description The STEM Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. This role involves designing and delivering engaging STEM lessons and astronomy-focused workshops for K–12 students, using hands-on experiments, observation sessions, and interactive learning tools. The educator will conduct in-class and co-curricular sessions at partner schools, guide students during telescopic observations and portable planetarium shows, and support outreach events aimed at promoting scientific awareness. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, adapting content for different age groups,



assessing learner understanding, and providing constructive feedback. The role also requires collaboration with the academic and operations teams to refine curricula, ensure safety during practical activities, and maintain high standards of learner engagement. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, ideally with experience working with K–12 learners in STEM or related subjects.
• Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including the ability to design age-appropriate, hands-on activities and structured learning modules.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for explaining complex scientific concepts clearly and engagingly to diverse student groups.
• Candidates should possess Training skills, including the ability to guide learners during practical activities and support peer educators or volunteers.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Education, Physics, Astronomy, Engineering, or another STEM field are preferred.
• Ability to facilitate interactive sessions, manage classrooms, and ensure safety during experiments and observation activities.
• Interest in astronomy, space science, and experiential learning, with a willingness to work flexible hours for events and observation sessions.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a collaborative mindset to work with school partners and internal teams.
