Role: Head of Department, German Language ? Bengaluru (Hybrid) | Full time What you’ll do
• Own the A1 to B2 curriculum, aligned to Goethe, telc and OSD exams
• Lead and grow our team of German trainers
• Drive B1 and B2 first-attempt pass rates and reduce dropouts
• Build healthcare-focused German modules with our placement and Finishing School teams Team Management
• Hire, onboard and lead the German trainer team, including freelance and native-speaker faculty
• Run trainer certification, classroom observations and monthly quality audits
• Plan trainer capacity and batch allocation against the enrolment forecast
• Set individual goals, run performance reviews and build a bench of senior trainers Delivery quality and student outcomes
• Track attendance,



assessment scores and progress for every batch on a weekly basis
• Identify at-risk candidates early and run remedial and doubt-clearing programmes
• Drive first-attempt pass rates in external exams at B1 and B2
• Reduce dropouts between levels in coordination with student success and counselling teams What you bring
• C2 German, with 5+ years of teaching experience
• 2+ years leading a trainer team
• DaF/DaZ qualification or Goethe/telc examiner licence is a plus
• Experience with healthcare or vocational German is a plus
