Role Description The Article Trainee will support audit, tax, and accounting assignments under the supervision of qualified professionals in a full time, on-site role based in the Delhi NCR Area. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting in statutory and internal audits, preparing working papers, vouching and verification of records, and helping in the preparation of financial statements. The trainee will also support direct and indirect tax compliance activities such as return preparation, documentation, and basic assessments. Additional tasks can include maintaining books of accounts, performing reconciliations, conducting basic research on accounting and tax matters, and drafting simple reports or client communication. The role involves regular interaction with team members and may include client visits,



requiring a disciplined approach to timelines, documentation, and professional conduct. Qualifications
• Candidates should be registered or eligible to register as Article Trainees under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and be pursuing the Chartered Accountancy course.
• Candidates should possess strong fundamentals in accounting, including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and preparation of basic financial statements.
• Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of auditing principles and procedures, including documentation, internal controls, and compliance checks.
• Candidates should have basic knowledge of direct and indirect taxation concepts, with a willingness to learn practical application of tax laws and regulations.
• Candidates should exhibit good analytical ability, attention to detail, and capability to work with numerical data and reconciliations.
• Candidates should have clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to draft simple working notes & emails.
• Candidates should be proficient in using MS Excel, Word.
• Candidates should be able to work in a team-oriented environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to structured professional workflows.
