Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Unit Head role based in Chennai.

The Unit

Head will oversee branch sales operations, drive business growth, and ensure achievement of targets across various Investments and Insurance products.

Responsibilities include managing and mentoring team members, monitoring portfolio quality, and implementing policies and processes that align with regulatory and company standards. The role involves reviewing performance metrics, analyzing local market opportunities,



coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring superior customer service and compliance.

The Unit

Head will also be responsible for risk management, process improvement, and contributing to strategic initiatives at the regional and corporate level.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in retail Insurance and Deposits or NBFC/banking operations, with proven ability to manage business targets and unit performance.
- Leadership and people management skills, including team mentoring, performance management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, portfolio monitoring, and risk assessment for retail and SME customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and ensure process discipline and compliance.
- Working knowledge of regulatory guidelines relevant to NBFCs and retail lending is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Prior experience in managing a branch, region, or business unit in financial services will be highly beneficial.
