Role Description The System Engineer role at The Pant Project is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The System

Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, performing regular maintenance and updates, and ensuring system security and reliability. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing technical support to internal teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve system architecture and scalability.

The System





Engineer will also document configurations and procedures, contribute to process improvements, and support new technology initiatives as the business grows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills to plan, build, and optimize scalable, secure infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess System Administration skills, including managing servers, user access, backups, and system monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and assist internal users effectively.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document technical processes.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail technology environments is beneficial.
