Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring projects are executed according to design, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role includes coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and workers; monitoring work progress; managing site resources and materials; and maintaining detailed site records and daily reports.

The Site





Supervisor will ensure compliance with timelines, inspect workmanship, address on-site issues promptly, and uphold health and safety procedures. The position also involves regular communication with project managers and clients, supporting accurate updates on project status, and contributing to smooth handover upon completion.

Qualifications

- Strong site supervision and construction management skills, including daily activity planning, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
- Knowledge of civil engineering or construction practices, structural and architectural drawings, and basic quantity estimation.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, quality control procedures, and compliance with local building codes and standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, workers, and clients.
- Ability to maintain documentation such as site logs, material usage records, and daily progress reports with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools and, preferably, exposure to construction-related software or project tracking tools.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with prior on-site supervision experience.
- Proven ability to work independently at site locations, make timely decisions, and handle operational challenges.
