We are currently hiring an experienced Platform Validation Engineer for one of our esteemed clients

Location: Bengaluru & Chennai (Hybrid Mode)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Platform Validation Engineer to validate the functionality, reliability, security, and operational readiness of cloud and data-platform capabilities. The candidate will plan and execute validation activities, automate repeatable checks, investigate defects, and provide evidence-based recommendations on platform release readiness

Key Responsibilities

- Develop validation strategies, test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for platform infrastructure and services.
- Validate platform provisioning, configuration, access controls, connectivity, monitoring, resilience, and operational behavior.
- Create and execute automated smoke, functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end validation checks where appropriate.
- Validate infrastructure-as-code changes, configuration updates, integrations, and platform workflows across environments.
- Record test evidence, raise defects with transparent reproduction steps, track issues through resolution, and perform retesting.
- Analyze logs, metrics, alerts, and test results to identify reliability, performance, and configuration issues.
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, security, and data engineering teams to investigate root causes.




- Maintain validation automation, documentation, traceability, dashboards, and operational runbooks.
- Support release-readiness reviews by communicating validation status, known defects, risks, and outstanding dependencies.

Required Skills

- Experience in platform validation, quality engineering, infrastructure testing, systems integration testing, or cloud/DevOps testing.
- Understanding of AWS cloud fundamentals, including IAM, networking, compute, storage, logging, and monitoring.
- Ability to validate infrastructure and configuration changes, including Terraform-based deployments.
- Experience creating and executing functional, integration, regression, and smoke tests.
- Scripting or automation skills using Python, Bash, or a comparable language.
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, defect tracking, and test reporting.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and written/verbal communication skills.

Preffered skills

Exposure to Databricks or other data platforms, including workspace access, job execution, connectivity, and configuration validation.

Experience with automated testing frameworks, API testing, infrastructure testing, or pipeline validation.

Familiarity with CloudWatch, logs, metrics, dashboards, alerting, and security/resilience validation.
