Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in Kottayam. The person in this role will prepare detailed technical and engineering drawings using CAD software, supporting structural and design engineering projects. Daily responsibilities include creating and revising plans, sections, and elevations; interpreting engineers’ and architects’ instructions; and ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and project specifications.





The CAD Drafter will coordinate with structural engineers and other team members, organize drawing files and documentation, and assist in preparing drawings for submissions and approvals. The role may also involve updating drawings based on site feedback and contributing to continuous improvement of drafting practices.

Qualifications

- Ability to produce exact technical drawing and general drawing work for structural and design projects.
- Proficiency in engineering drawings, including plans, sections, details, and schedules.
- Experience preparing architectural drawings that align with structural requirements.
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and basic structural concepts.
- Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams on-site in Kottayam.
