Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Kozhikode.

The Civil

Engineer will oversee and manage construction projects, including planning, design coordination, and site supervision to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings, preparing and checking structural and civil designs, coordinating with architects and contractors, and monitoring material quality and workmanship. The role also involves preparing project reports, assisting with cost estimates, and supporting compliance with local building codes, standards, and environmental regulations.

Engineer will collaborate closely with project teams to address technical issues, optimize designs, and contribute to effective client communication.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to residential and commercial building projects.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on-site, including supervision of construction activities and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Planning, including project scheduling, resource allocation, and sequencing of construction activities for efficient execution.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure design, with an understanding of local environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety standards, and quality control practices in India, particularly in Kerala.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings; experience with CAD or similar design software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks on-site.
- Prior experience in residential building projects, home design, or architectural coordination is preferred.
