Experience: 5+ years in Purchasing / Procurement

Upraisal is looking for experienced procurement professionals for a Purchase Manager chance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimisation, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
Manage vendor relationships, supplier performance, and issue resolution.
Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchase requirements and develop procurement plans.
Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and consumption patterns to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Drive cost-saving initiatives, commodity costing, and value engineering.
Prepare procurement MIS, performance reports, and cost-saving analyses for management.
Ensure compliance with applicable procurement policies and regulations.




Improve procurement processes and support ethical and sustainable sourcing practices.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Electronics.
5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within the Indian market.
Robust knowledge of procurement strategies, supplier development, and negotiation.
Experience in commodity costing, cost optimisation, and value engineering.
Positive understanding of vendor management, inventory, logistics, and supply chain processes.
Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems; knowledge of SAP or Zoho is preferred.
Robust analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
