Purpose of the Job: Responsible to

- Test Tyres in an outdoor environment and provide reliable, repeatable, reproducible & representative test results to internal customers on time, traceable to internal/national/international standards.
- Subjective evaluation of tyre performance through vehicle assessments under various operating conditions.
- Objective evaluation through instrumented testing, data analysis, and performance benchmarking
Market mapping toassess the tyre performance under real world usage pattern.

Major Responsibilities:

- Tyre Testing: Plan and execute testing, regulatory track tests as per plans, customer requirements (P, Q, D) & applicable standards.
- Vehicle Instrumentation & Data Acquisition: Instrument test vehicles,



configure measurement systems and acquire reliable test data as per SOPs.
- Test Analysis & Reporting: Analyse test results, identify performance trends and anomalies, and prepare technical reports with appropriate Insights.
- Equipment & Quality Compliance: Ensure equipment maintenance and calibration, data traceability, and adherence to testing procedures and quality systems.
- Test Operations: Coordinate test vehicles, equipment and resources to achieve planned timelines and budgets.
- Safety & Continuous Improvement: Ensure safe testing practices and drive improvements in testing efficiency, accuracy, repeatability and productivity.
- Digitalization & Automation: Develop and improve digital tools for test data processing, analysis, visualization and reporting

- Prepare the test results & Amendments in test reports, review with manager and publish
- Allocation of resources
- Stop test/machine incase of any quality or safety deviation.

Technical/Functional Knowledge:

1). Knowledge of Tyretesting & Global tyre testing standards.
2). Knowledge of LaboratoryManagement & Internal Audit as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 & IATF 16949certifications
3). Knowledge of tyre test equipment.
4). Quality systems & Regulations.

Relevant Experience:

3+ years in automotive/ tyre technology /manufacturing/quality or testing with hand-on experience with automated systems forprecision measurements
Shall have experience in.

1. Tyre technology or Manufacturing or Testing
2. Result oriented planning, scheduling & organizing
3. Digital platforms-SAP, LIMS, Teams, MS, PowerBI, HTML
4. Analytical tools /software -MATLAB, Python, IMC, LMS etc
5. Safety & Quality systems - 5S, 8D investigation, HIRA, TQM, FMEA, ISO17025, IATF16949
Valid HCV/LMV driving license

Education Qualification(s): Graduate in Mechanical/Automobile / Production Engineering.
