WE ARE HIRING | BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – ONCOLOGY
We are hiring experienced Oncology Sales / Key Account Management professionals for AbbVie, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
Position: Business Development Manager (BDM) – Oncology

CTC: Up to 22 LPA
Experience Required: 6–7 years in pharmaceutical sales, with relevant Oncology experience.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:
Candidates must be currently working in the Oncology segment. Professionals with only past Oncology exposure will not be considered.
Preferred Industry Background:
Candidates currently working in Oncology divisions of reputed pharmaceutical organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Oncology business development and sales growth across the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, haematologists and key opinion leaders.
- Manage key accounts across corporate hospitals, cancer institutes and specialty healthcare centres.
- Support hospital formulary listings, institutional business development and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct scientific product discussions and coordinate medical education initiatives.
- Achieve territory sales targets while ensuring ethical and compliant pharmaceutical promotion.
Candidate Requirements:
- 6–7 years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Current Oncology division experience is compulsory.
- Strong Oncology product knowledge and established relationships with cancer specialists.
- Experience in hospital sales, institutional business or key account management.
- Valuable understanding of the respective HQ and surrounding territory.
- B.Pharm / B.Sc / Biotechnology graduate preferred; relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
