The Asst. Manager – Process and Proposal is responsible for the process design function for water and wastewater treatment projects. This role ensures that all process engineering deliverables are technically sound, cost-effective, compliant with standards, and aligned with client and project requirements. The position demands strong technical expertise in water and wastewater treatment process design , combined with leadership, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Design the conceptual, basic, and detailed process design for water and wastewater treatment systems (WTP, STP, ETP, RO, ZLD, UF/MF, etc.).

Define design philosophies, process flow schemes, and technology selection based on project requirements.

Project & Team Management

Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and automation teams for design integration.





Contribute to process standardization and the development of design templates and databases.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Implement quality checks and audits for process deliverables.

Commissioning & Technical Support

Provide high-level process support during commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance testing.

Lead design validation and root-cause analysis for process deviations or non-conformities.

B.E./B.Tech in Chemical / Environmental / Mechanical Engineering (M.5-6 years of experience in process design and engineering for water/wastewater treatment systems.

- Proven experience in handling large-scale industrial or municipal projects.
- Prior experience in an EPC / Consulting / OEM setting is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies like coagulation/flocculation, clarification, filtration, RO, UF/MF, ion exchange, biological systems (MBR, SBR, MBBR, ASP), and zero liquid discharge (ZLD).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / SmartPlant for review and interface.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Capability to interact with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities confidently.

Exposure to digital design and modelling tools (BIM, 3D P&ID; integration).

Awareness of sustainability metrics (water reuse, energy recovery, carbon footprint).

Experience in tender evaluation and technical-commercial proposal preparation.
