About the job
Salary: 2 LPA (increases as the company grows).
Work Mode: Primarily office-based, with occasional work-from-home flexibility.
Location: Chennai.
Office Locations: Guindy / Nungambakkam (may vary from time to time).
Role: Founding Business Development Lead.
The role is in business development. Candidates are expected to have professional communication and soft skills in English and Tamil. A background in Computer Science, Cloud, or AI is preferable. Solid domain knowledge in cloud computing is mandatory. Coding skills are not required. Candidates must be interested in a long-term association.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and connect with potential customers.
2. Generate leads and build business relationships.
3. Communicate PettiCloud's products and value to prospective customers.
4. Explore new business opportunities and partnerships.
5. Contribute to closing deals and converting prospects into paying customers.
6. Assist clients with product onboarding, initial setup, and ongoing support to ensure a smooth experience.
7. Warmly receive and guide our guests, both online and offline, as required.

Eligibility: Due to the current nature of the role, we're currently accepting applications from male candidates who are native residents of Chennai.
