Role Overview

TCS is looking for an experienced Associate Manager – Record to Report (RTR) to lead end-to-end financial close and reporting operations. The role is responsible for General Ledger governance, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, audit support, intercompany accounting, fixed asset accounting, team leadership, and finance transformation initiatives within a shared services/BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.

- Review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and accounting adjustments.

- Ensure timely financial reporting and adherence to SLA timelines.

- Review trial balances, financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.

- Manage General Ledger operations and Chart of Accounts governance.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local GAAP.

- Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged reconciling items.

- Manage intercompany accounting, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations.

- Oversee fixed asset accounting, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.

- Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance,



and internal controls.

- Lead and develop RTR team members.

- Drive process improvement, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.

- Collaborate with FP&A;, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, Procurement, and Business Finance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.

- CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.

- 7–10 years of Record-to-Report (RTR), General Ledger, or Financial Accounting experience.

- Team management experience in Shared Services/BPO/GCC.

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Financial Reporting, and Internal Controls.

- Experience with SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP platforms.

- Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
