About the company

Our client is a leading global engineering organisation that builds large industrial and energy systems for customers worldwide. Its Bangalore team works closely with the company's international headquarters and global engineering teams on complex, high-value projects.

About the role

You will design, build and secure the networks that connect industrial control systems on large industrial equipment and plants. You will take customer security requirements, build them into the OT network, prove them in testing, and document them. You will work with engineering teams, customers, suppliers and global headquarters.

What you will do

- Design, implement and document secure network architectures and cybersecurity solutions based on customer requirements
- Configure industrial firewalls, network switches and other network components in OT control systems
- Implement secure network segmentation using VLANs, industrial network topologies and security zones
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for industrial control systems in line with IEC 62443
- Run Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), validate cybersecurity configurations and troubleshoot network and security issues
- Support commissioning, testing and issue resolution for industrial networks
- Prepare network architecture diagrams,



configuration records, test reports and technical documentation
- Provide technical support to internal engineering teams, customers and suppliers
- Coordinate with global headquarters and international teams on project execution
- Manage multiple project deliverables on quality and on time

What you bring

Must have

- 3 to 5 years in OT cybersecurity, industrial networking, automation or plant engineering
- Working knowledge of OT, Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments
- Hands-on experience configuring industrial firewalls and network security policies
- Practical knowledge of VLANs, network segmentation, switching and ring topologies
- Knowledge of IEC 62443 and industrial cybersecurity risk assessment
- Experience with FAT, system validation, network troubleshooting and technical documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication in English

Positive to have

- Familiarity with Siemens PCS 7 and Allen-Bradley systems
- Exposure to industrial network and security devices from Hirschmann, Siemens, Fortinet or Phoenix Contact
- Cybersecurity or network engineering certifications (for example ISA/IEC 62443, GICSP, CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE)
- Commissioning or site experience in power, marine or process industries
