Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facade Estimator cum Designer based in Delhi. The role involves preparing cost estimates for facade works, including quantity take-offs, material specifications, and pricing based on drawings, tender documents, and site conditions. The professional will develop facade design concepts, create detailed drawings and layouts, and coordinate with structural and MEP disciplines to ensure design feasibility.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing architectural plans, proposing suitable facade systems, collaborating with the project team and vendors, and updating estimates and designs as project requirements evolve. The role also includes support during tender negotiation,



assisting in technical submissions, and ensuring that designs align with safety standards, local regulations, and client expectations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in facade design, architectural drawing interpretation, and preparation of detailed design and shop drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and basic budgeting for facade and glazing systems.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) and basic MS Office applications.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of facade materials, systems (glass, aluminum, cladding), building codes, and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in facade or building envelope projects.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential.
