Role Description

An Oracle Fusion Financials GL and Cash Management Senior Associate responsible for providing L2/L3 functional support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancements for Oracle Cloud Financials applications within an Oracle Managed Services environment. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), financial close processes, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve production issues, maintain application stability, implement configuration changes, and drive continuous process improvements.

Level: Experienced Professional, independently manage assigned support workstreams, prioritize incidents and service requests, perform root cause analysis, ensure SLA compliance, deliver high-quality solutions, and coordinate with client stakeholders and offshore technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support: Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Fusion General Ledger and Cash Management, resolving incidents, service requests, and application defects within agreed SLAs.

General Ledger Support: Troubleshoot journal imports, journal posting, ledger configurations, Chart of Accounts (COA), accounting periods, allocations, revaluation, translation, intercompany transactions, and period-end close issues.

Cash Management Support: Resolve issues related to bank account configurations, bank statement imports, reconciliation rules, automatic and manual bank reconciliation, cash positioning, and cash forecasting.

Financial Close Support: Assist business teams with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, journal reconciliations, subledger transfers,



and accounting discrepancies.

Configuration & Enhancements: Perform approved configuration changes involving ledgers, accounting calendars, journal sources and categories, bank accounts, reconciliation rules, and financial controls.

Incident & Problem Management: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), identify recurring issues, recommend permanent fixes, and maintain knowledge base documentation.

Integration & Reporting: Troubleshoot FBDI/ADFDI uploads, ESS scheduled processes, Oracle Fusion integrations, OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Center, and Smart View reporting issues.

Quarterly Patch Support: Perform Oracle Cloud quarterly release impact assessments, regression testing, and post-patch validation.

Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with Finance business users, technical teams, Oracle Support, and other module teams to resolve cross-functional issues.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: with strong hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud production support experience.

Functional Expertise: Robust knowledge of Oracle General Ledger, Cash Management, Chart of Accounts, Journal Processing, Bank Reconciliation, and Period Close.

Cross-Module Knowledge: Understanding of Subledger Accounting (SLA), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and intercompany accounting.

Technical Knowledge: Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, ADFDI, ESS Jobs, Smart View, and Oracle Functional Setup Manager (FSM).

Managed Services: Experience handling L2/L3 tickets, SLA-based incident resolution, RCA, change requests, and service delivery tools such as Service Now or Jira.

Communication: Strong stakeholder coordination, analytical troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
