Role & responsibilities
Project Execution: Lead end-to-end NPD milestones, tracking timeline compliance from design concept to plant handover.
RFQ & Budgeting: Prepare RFQ/SOR packages, Cost-Advantage Analyses (CBA), and project CAPEX for weld cell installations; secure executive approvals.
Line Setup & Operations: Supervise daily shop-floor welding project execution, tooling readiness, and technical manpower allocation.
Buy-Off & PPAP: Oversee tool/line buy-offs, lead PPAP validation, and ensure seamless handover to the serial production operations team.
Client & CFT Alignment: Serve as the technical point of contact for customer reviews, design changes, and cross-functional team coordination.
Value Engineering & Safety: Drive VAVE initiatives to optimize cycle times and manufacturing costs while maintaining plant safety standards.

Preferred candidate profile
Minimum 8+ years hands-on experience in automotive NPD environments with solid expertise in welding cells and tooling projects.
Proven track record leading PPAP submissions, customer interface, and Capex budgeting.
Working proficiency in SAP HANA and 3D modeling/design suites.
