Role & responsibilities

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
Troubleshoot breakdowns with the maintenance team within authorised competence; promptly escalate major faults and downtime risks.
Perform preventive maintenance to approved schedules and procedures; report completion, findings and pending work.

Equipment & Utility Systems
Support upkeep of electrical panels, DG sets, compressors, vacuum systems, water treatment/RO plants, HVAC (if applicable), ETP and fire-fighting systems within authorised competence; promptly report abnormalities.

Safety, Compliance & Documentation
Follow approved PPE, lock-out/tag-out, machine guarding, electrical safety and applicable chemical-handling procedures; promptly report unsafe conditions.
Maintain service logs, breakdown reports, energy data and safety-inspection records; support statutory documentation and audits.

Equipment Installation & Commissioning




Assist with equipment layout, installation, testing and commissioning to agreed plans with authorised vendors/OEMs.

Team Coordination
Work with technicians, helpers and contract staff on planned tasks; seek guidance when needed.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and Export teams on agreed priorities to support equipment uptime and production continuity.

Preferred candidate profile

Mechanical Engineering diploma/degree; skills in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, drawings/manuals, preventive maintenance planning and vendor coordination. Jewellery/precision manufacturing exposure preferred. Safety-conscious, organised and responsive; available for approved shifts and breakdown support.
