Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Golang to design, develop, and scale distributed, high-throughput backend systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Go microservices, event-driven architecture, Kafka, payment integrations, database optimization, and production-grade backend engineering.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Go microservices and RESTful APIs.
Build event-driven systems using Kafka, including Outbox patterns, retries, and idempotency.
Design and integrate webhooks with reliable delivery mechanisms.
Integrate third-party payment gateways, handling transaction flows, reconciliation, refunds, and failure scenarios.
Develop concurrent applications using Goroutines, Channels, Context, and graceful shutdown mechanisms.
Design effective data models and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases.
Implement caching strategies using Redis.
Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
Write unit and integration tests, conduct code reviews, and maintain code quality.
Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause analysis.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable backend solutions.

Required Skills
5+ years of backend development experience.
Solid hands-on expertise in Golang.
Advanced Go concepts: Goroutines, Channels, Sync primitives, Worker Pools, Context, and Graceful Shutdown.
Strong experience in Microservices and Distributed Systems.
Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar message brokers.
Experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, and Payment Gateway Integrations.
Strong SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Experience with Redis and caching strategies.
Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and AWS/GCP.
Understanding of JWT, OAuth, and Role-Based Access Control.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Recent Relic, and CloudWatch.
Solid problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.

Good to Have
Go Monorepos and Bazel.
API Gateways such as KrakenD.
Fintech, Payments, or E-commerce domain experience.
OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design.
Experience with high-volume, high-concurrency systems.
Mentoring or team leadership experience.
