Role & responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to meet production targets.
Supervise motor manufacturing and assembly operations, including stator winding, rotor assembly, shaft fitting, bearing assembly, and final assembly, as applicable.
Ensure adherence to production plans, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process parameters.
Monitor production performance, manpower utilization, machine efficiency, and material availability.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and Engineering departments to resolve production issues.
Analyze production rejections, rework, downtime, and process losses; implement corrective and preventive actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen,



and other productivity improvement techniques.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, electrical safety requirements, and EHS procedures.
Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection reports, downtime records, and other manufacturing documentation.
Train, guide, and develop production operators and junior engineers.
Support current product introduction (NPI), process validation, engineering changes, and productivity improvement projects.
Monitor KPIs such as OEE, productivity, rejection rate, cycle time, and on-time production achievement.
