Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer or above – EDA to architect, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions BackEnd for Digital and Analog Designs done in the company. This role is part of the global EDA team.
Propose, Architect, Develop and Successfully deploy AI/ML/GenAI solutions in Chip Design domain across Renesas’s portfolio. Be proficient in developing and deploying AI solutions and EDA tools with keen eye on end-user experience metric.
Own some part of the overall CAD solution and be responsible for WW engagement with customers.
Valuable understanding of Digital Implementation and Signoff Methodologies for MCU and HPC type of designs.
Hands-on in development & debug of AI/ML Technologies and with industry leading EDA tools in Digital/Analog Designs
Proactively engage with customers through regular follow-ups, in feature engineering, model development, demonstrate incremental and sufficient PPA, Productivity impact in chip design process.
Hands-on in mature software development practices, leading programming languages for AI/ML development tasks
Expected to work in a energetic design workplace
Prior collaboration with offshore/outsourcing partners and vendor escalation management
