Job DescriptionSummaryWe areseeking an experienced Engineer to support the Heavy Duty (HD)Steam Turbine (ST) and Generator (GEN) Inquiry to Remittance (ITR)process within the Agile value stream of the Services business.This role serves as the primary Agile team focal point forstandardized, small, and quick-turn opportunities and projects,ensuring customer needs are translated into technically sound,executable solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer with solidtechnical foundation and project lifecycle experience who is readyto own the full ITR scope – from customer inquiry through orderfulfilment and outage execution, while developing expertise underthe mentorship of senior technical leaders.Thesuccessful candidate will execute technical analysis, managecustomer interactions, coordinate across functional teams, andcontribute to operational excellence initiatives. This role offersthe prospect to deepen technical mastery in ST/GEN systems whilebuilding the strategic and cross-functional skills needed foradvancement.JobDescriptionRolesand ResponsibilitiesOwnassigned ITR opportunities and projects across the full lifecycle(inquiry, order, outage execution), managing technical analysis,scope definition, scheduling, and customization of products forspecific customer requirements.Act as primarypoint of contact for assigned opportunities with interfacing teams(commercial operations, sales, sourcing, material management,project management, design engineering) on ITR-related matters forthe Agile Upgrades team.Deliver technicalexecution with quality and timeliness, ensuring alignment withcompany best practices and customer expectations. Escalate/consultwith experienced team members or Technical Leader on complex issuesand drive them to closure.Collaborate tobalance team workload, support process execution,



and identifyopportunities for improvement. Work within a matrixed organizationto integrate with Design Engineering, Materials Management, Sales,and Supply Chain.Contribute to continuousimprovement by identifying process gaps/inefficiencies andsupporting the rollout of improvement initiatives within the ST/GENAgile team, under guidance from senior teamleadership.Develop technical expertise inST/GEN bill-of-materials (both GE Vernova and Legacy Alstom units),outage support, and supply chain collaboration through hands-onproject work andmentorship. RequiredQualificationsBachelor'sdegree from an accredited university or college in Engineering (orequivalent high school diploma/GED with significant relevanttechnical experience).Overall, 6-8years work experience with 2-4 yearsof direct experience in Parts Engineering,Customer Application Engineering, or similar projectlifecycle roles.Solid technical background inor willingness to develop expertise in Steam Turbine andGenerator systems, bill-of-materials,and outagesupport.Demonstrated ability tomanage multiple projects concurrently and coordinate acrossfunctional teams.Strong oral and writtencommunication skills; ability to convey technical informationclearly to diverseaudiences.DesiredCharacteristicsExperiencewith Steam/Generator design engineering, ITO/OTR process, CM&U;(Conversions, Modifications, and Uprates) process, or similarproject management methodologies.Demonstratedproblem-solving ability: root cause analysis, issue resolution, anddeviation management.Familiarity with processimprovement concepts (Lean, Six Sigma) or workflowautomation.Proactive mindset: comfort withambiguity and willingness to learn from mentorship andfeedback.Customer focus and collaborativeapproach to cross-functional teamwork.AdditionalInformationRelocation Assistance Provided:Yes
