Civil Engineer (BOQ & Billing Specialist)

We are looking for a proactive professional with strong billing, estimation, cost control, and project coordination skills who can efficiently manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on project drawings and specifications.
- Estimate material, labor, machinery, and subcontractor costs for construction projects.
- Prepare, verify, and submit client bills and contractor bills.
- Manage project billing, measurements, and reconciliation of quantities.
- Review and certify vendor and subcontractor invoices.
- Track project costs and maintain budget control reports.
- Prepare rate analysis and cost comparison statements.
- Coordinate with site engineers for quantity verification and work measurements.
- Maintain records of work orders, purchase orders, and billing documents.
- Prepare project cash flow statements and cost forecasts.
- Monitor site expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Handle variation orders, extra item claims, and escalation calculations.
- Ensure billing compliance as per contract terms and project agreements.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress bills and final bills.
- Support tendering activities by preparing BOQs, estimates, and costing sheets.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams regarding billing and quantity-related matters.
- Resolve client queries and grievances related to project billing and measurements.

Required Skills :

- Expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and project estimation.
- Strong knowledge of construction billing, measurement sheets,



and rate analysis.
- Ability to prepare client bills, contractor bills, and subcontractor bills.
- Knowledge of project budgeting, cost control, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), AutoCAD, and billing software.
- Understanding of construction contracts, tender documents, and work orders.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Additional Responsibilities

- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
- Verify site measurements and maintain measurement records.
- Prepare and evaluate tender documents and cost estimates.
- Monitor project profitability and cost variance reports.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for material planning and cost optimization.
- Ensure timely submission of RA Bills (Running Account Bills) and Final Bills.
- Maintain project MIS reports and billing trackers.
- Assist management in project planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of CPWD, PWD, DSR, and market rates.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.

Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering (mandatory) :

- M.Tech in Civil Engineering will be an added advantage.

- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction or real estate projects
